Later, I received E-Mail that said:

I lived in Laguna Beach for 18yrs. I knew the owners of PYNE CASTLE. Can't remember there names but will find out and let you know I also have a friend that is a photographer that lives in California. Will see if I can get a pic of it. It sits in North Laguna on top of a hill.

Later, I got:

I know that a Roland Green and Dick Massey owned it. But Roland Green had a bad heart so don't know if he is still living.

Later, I received E-Mail that said:

I was a Realtor based in Laguna Beach CA from 1975 to 1988 and Pyne Castle owners Dick Massey and roland Green were clients and Dick was a personal friend of mine. In 1968, President Richard Nixon looked long and hard at Pyne Castle to be his Summer White House, but the Secret Service called the poperty difficult, so Nixon purchased an estate in San Clemente that had housed a major Democratic donor (who had hosted FDR there) instead. Pyne Castle was badly threatened by the great Laguna/Irvine Ranch fire of 1991.

Later, I received E-Mail that said:
