BONNYCONNELLAN CASTLE

I received E-Mail that said:

Here in Sidney Ohio we have two castles. The first one is known as Bonnyconnellan and was built in 1886. It is believed to be patterned after a castle in Cork Ireland. I believe Bonyconnellan would fit nicely on your page as it has a nice set of impressive turrrets.

Later, I received E-Mail that said:

This castle was sold at a police auction for around 64,000 and had been almost completly gutted if I am not mistaken. Reference dayton paper in feb. The buyer I think was planning to restore it , that would be nice to see.

Later, I received E-Mail that said:

I am writing to give you a little more information on the Bonnyconnellan Castle. In the late 1960's it served as a sort of boarding house. My mother rented one of the rooms. It was later turned into a family home. In the late 1990's a family decided to renovate the structure and use it as a bed and breakfast, and it is open for guests. Just as a side note; it is also said to be haunted by a man in a blue uniform, looking over a wedding dress on the main stairs of the castle.

There is a web site from the county in which it is;
www.shelbycountyhistory.org/schs/downtown/bonnyconnellan.htm

Also, there is another home next to the castle that very much resembles Bonnyconnellan. I don't have any information on the home other than the fact they were built around the same time, 1880's.
